There was a small forest template in the middle of the board (opp placed it there), so I figured I'd abuse it. I went 2nd, moved up and hid most of my stuff behind it, threw out a sacrificial shredder.
He advanced again, put up the damage debuff from the agonizer (which had a decent range as it was full fury now).
His caster was in range through the forest, so I decided to go for it. Feated, hit him with lylths bow, put parasite on him, missed with the other shot. Carni assaulted the agonizer at an angle to hit morghul as well, left the agonizer on 1 box. Seraph rolled 3 shots, missed all of them but 1 rolling 4 dice. Left morghul with 1 box.
I survived due to running shredders to engage everything and carni being in the way, but carni frenzied next turn. After that I tried to slipstream a forsaken into range, but mis-judged the agonizer's no animus aura, so just blight bombed some beasts. Even with 4 extra dice, pow 8 doesn't necessarily do a lot against a bronzeback.
Last ditch endgame attempt to get through 2 transfers with 2 bow shots and an eruption of spines, missed one of the bow shots. Walked the seraph out of melee to try the shots, but it died to the free strikes.
Moral: risky assassinations are risky. If I had been able to outright kill the agonizer with one one of lylth's bow shots, carni's spray would have done more damage and killed morghul, but that seems unlikely. Maybe I would have been able to get a shredder on to it. I wasn't using forsaken particularly well, finding a line between being able to threaten next turn and getting killed this turn is tricky.
