We all ended up in a ginormous forest in the middle, sorscha at the far south end, beast on the far west end after having boundless charged / killed the hunter, spriggan near beast.
Kraye moved towards the middle of the forest, easy rider to give pathfinder, feated. Ironclad quaked to knock beast down, hammersmith declared a charge against sorscha who was more than 8" of forest away. I pointed out the lack of LoS, opp said well cant I charge beast, I sad no, he's way more than 3" of forest away as well. I think opp thought forest didn't block LoS if you were both inside.
Next turn I gave beast 4, moved sorscha up a bit and feated with the intention of using spriggan to bulldoze the ironclad out of the way to clear a lane to kraye with beast. But opp pointed out I forgot to shake the knockdown after focus allocation, so beast sacrificed movement to stand up and wrecked the ironclad. Kraye moved up between the spriggan and the hammersmith (I'm not sure why he didn't run away, maybe he was trying to block LoS for free strikes? But if kraye fit in there spriggan wouldnt have reach...). Anyway, he said "well I can walk hammersmith over there to sorscha even if I don't have LoS, right?" Boosted two attack rolls against sorscha and missed them both. Beast killed kraye next turn.
Moral: Shake after focus allocation, duh.
